Growers Trip into The Hills

Its been awhile. Been so busy with a new job and finishing off school. I have 5 weeks left to go and then shit gets real. I need to work out my next move.

But in the mean time i’ve had a lovely trip up in the big green hills of the Dandenongs. Visiting the growers that supply beautiful flowers to our wholesalers for us as florist to create beautiful things. Bit of a process to get the end result but well worth it right! Anyway here is a day in the life of me in photo form. E N J O Y!

What a day! and to top it all off our bus broke down at the lost stop 🙂

It was very interesting learning how growers manage to get a turn around between 3 weeks to 3 months from soil to our store. Amazing! A lot of work goes into those little bunches of posy’s you pick up at your local florist. So next time you have a vase full in your home, just remember the “little guy” worked hard for you to get the best quality, Australian grown bunch for you.

Over and Out xo
